Hello!
Welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Aurelia Meiqi Brook, and I’m a second year graduate student at the University of Washington, pursuing my PhD in Physics. My field of research is in light-matter interactions, which I examine through the design and fabrication of quantum thin materials, 2D materials, and metaoptics. With a focus on engineering new devices to realize quantum nonlinear optics, my goal is to study emergent phenomena in strongly correlated hybrid states of light and matter.
Most of my work that is affiliated with my academic career will be posted here. If you have any questions, concerns about this website’s accessibility, or would just like to get in touch, please feel free to use the contact form.
